At the Larder in Wanstead we specialise in excellent coffee and a great range of teas, plus the cakes and treats from our specialist bakers to go with your drink. Our kitchen is open too until 3.30pm where a sandwich from our imaginative list is freshly made on your choice of artisan baked breads, or where fresh soups and other dishes are prepared. Browse the shelves for a wide range of essential and indulgent food products or check the cheese counter for our British selection. You’ll find a carefully picked selection of bottled beers on sale here too, as well our wine collection which is arranged conveniently by food pairing.

History

Established in 2007.

Wanting to create an antidote to the identikit coffee chains we started out on Wanstead High Street and soon became a much loved café and delicatessen by Wanstead’s discerning clientele. We have since opened a second Larder on Bethnal Green’s Globe Road and a third at Butlers Retreat in Epping Forest, each is different but share the core desire to produce great coffee in an inviting ambience and to focus on the quality of our ingredients and our suppliers.
