I don’t think I have ever had service like this in London before from a café. Run by a militant group of eastern European girls, The Larder is one of the nicest places to get a take out brekkie in Farringdon. I walked in about 10am to find a very sad looking yoghurt on the shelf. I walked up to the counter at the back and asked if they had anything else. The 4 woman team were prepare for the lunch run and they had an efficient production line of buttering, cutting and spreading going on. On lady said that was all they had but… would I like her to make me something fresh. Yes, she offered to stop what she was doing and make me my very own breakfast. So off she went cutting up fruit, drizzling in honey and pouring in yoghurt. A few minutes later I have a pot of home made goodness, all for £2. Amazeballs!
