I’ve got my diploma from here and I can say a lot about this school. This is not just a regular place to learn how to do Make-​up, but it’s a whole lifetime experience. You get to meet people from different places, with different talents and techniques and share experience.
You can get any Spa treatment you desire here and you won’t have to break the bank for it. The procedures are on the most competitive prices in London. Don’t hesitate because of the students, I can assure you that most of the people that study here, work more professionally and have more knowledge that the ones at your local salon.
Which is great is that you can give tips, recommendations and tell the person that is treating you, how would you like to be treated or what would you like to change. You can basically instruct the students and you’ll also be helping them in their future career.
I graduated the Advanced Make-​up Design, but like I said, you can get any beauty treatment here, not just Make-​up. From nail care, pedicure, beauty therapy, massages, facial care and all of these of affordable prices.

The most impossible people to deal with! Extremely rude, impossible to book any appointment… And if you want to have more than one service, plan to clear out 3 hours just to get a manicure and a facial.

I came here for the first time for a pedicure last week and I absolutely loved it! Although they are student who are treating you, which somewhat put me off at first, they really do take their time and will cater to your needs!
The salon is very modern and a lot nice than I expected or experienced at other similar beauty schools in London. My total treatment time was about an hour and 15 minutes. I must say that although it was a student that was treating me, she did a much better and thorough job than the countless other professionals who I’ve had pedicures done from!
Before the pedicure started, I was asked if there was any specific area in which I wanted concentrated on more than others. I replied that I wanted my cuticles worked on really well. After she had worked on my cuticles, she asked me if I liked them, how they looked and if I wanted her to go over them again. Of course, I said yes and so she therefore worked on my cuticles a second time! I just could not believe how much time she put into every step of the pedicure whether it be the cuticles or massage or foot scrub.
All in all, this was honestly one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. Plus, the greatest part is that it was also one of the cheapest pedicures I’ve had at 15 pounds! I wish I would have discovered this place sooner. I’ll definitely be coming back here for all my pedicures in London from now on!

In London its amazing how money tends to just evaporate !
So in this time of austerity I attempt to keep with the nations policy and try and save, but that does not mean a girl goes around un-​groomed !
So began my hunt a couple of days ago fro a beuty salon with reasonable (aka cheap prices)
I found Esthetique, via Unilocal and called to book an appointment !
all went well until they requested my card details, which I always find iffy !! but alas given that the place had very low prices i gave in !
I got an appointment to get my arms waxed ! and wellthat was exactly what I got done !
the place is very central and thus must get a lot from the hordes shopping around Oxford street !
The facilities are basic and clean !
The young girl who did my treatment was good and pleasant and attentive to detail !
I would question the products they use on facials as the place is basic and in my case my skin is so sensitive and prone to breakout !
Over all the place shall be frequented by me for my arms and i would also try a massage, maybe when I get my disertation flowing I will need to go and relax. !
Lets see !
I would advise this place but with caution the prices are attractive, but the fact that it is a school may put some people off !

I’ve been a long time patron of this beauty school. Spa services in London are so expensive and so hit-​and-​miss that I can’t stomach paying a ton for them, so the first time I saw the services menu with the really affordable prices on it, I had to give them a try. In the past 3 years or so I’ve tried a number of the treatments offered, and they’ve ranged from mediocre to very good. Never excellent, but also never bad.
Your treatment is given by a student at the school, who might be anywhere along the time line of her training. At the end of the treatment you are asked to fill out a brief questionnaire about your experience, how you liked it, what you would have had done differently, etc. So you’re also contributing to the education of a student, which feels almost like volunteer work.
So, for a full body Swedish massage, one full hour, you pay 22 pounds. I haven’t seen anything cheaper in town, and I’m a massage enthusiast. And as I said, I’ve had some really really nice ones, and some just ok ones.
Haven’t had a pedicure here because they don’t have proper pedicure chairs in the facility, and I can soak my feet in a pot of water at home. The manicure is basic and nice, however.
They also do a pre-​massage infra-​red treatment which warms up the muscles so you get more out of your massage. They’re also really good about giving you post-​treatment advice about future behaviours and products.
Oh also had a facial here once that was really nice.
Basically it’s the best place to go for affordable beauty treatments in central London. And they’re always really super nice to you. Only problem is they don’t usually take walk-​ins, you have to book ahead. But you can book several treatments back to back and treat yourself to a spa day at a ridiculously cheap price. I’m surprised this place isn’t booked out months in advance.
Oh also I see men in there a lot, which is cool. All are welcome.

A very sweet girl gave me an affordable European pedi here (10GBP), but that was lucky. The whole place reeked of acetone and European pedis mean your feet are in her lap. It was a little odd. Anyway, she was very sweet and gave me a good pedi, but the paint got totally smudged when I left from having to leave too soon.

London Esthetique is such a great place that I wish I’d known about it years ago and saved myself some money! Part of The London School of Beauty and Make Up, London Esthetique is the student salon offering heavily discounted treatments to the public. The prices are so cheap that at first I thought there some kind of catch. Having been there quite a few times I can honestly say there isn’t one. All treatments are supervised and I have never been dispaoointed with the treatments which are performed by the students. Don’t be put off by student salon– the interior is far from shabby, the wooden floors are light walls are very calming. The treatements are all up to date and they even offer the hot stone treatment favoured by A-​listers such as Gwyneth Paltrow. I have never tried it but at £30 I just might when I book in for my £8 manicure. This place gets very busy sobook now if you want to get yourself glammed up for all those Christmeas parties.
