The Lounge

I agree with the assessment below; it is visually a little tacky.
They do offers during the week and the staff are friendly. BUT, the technical side varies wildly, the hair washes have been consistently bad pick a combination of rushed, only washing the top part of your hair, not rinsing completely, being very rough. They do seem to be in a rush which I find anything but relaxing but it was convenient and we’re all busy.
UPDATE: Last time I visited was simply a disaster. I felt like I was constantly saying no/​please stop that/​what is that you’re about to spray in my hair/​pls stop digging into my scalp/​my hair colour isn’t right to the point that I went straight home, washed my hair again as there was still tint on the scalp and popped a hat on it to cover the mess of patchy colour and very irritated skin.
I’m now having a colour correction service elsewhere once the irritation has gone down (!) and needless to say, never going back.

This hair and beauty salon in Orpington high street is rather extravagant. It feels as though they have tried to make an effort to be stylish and unique but it comes across a little tacky. The girls that work there are lovely and there are a range of beauty treatments to visit The Lounge for. It is a place to relax and be pampered and to some people that is all that matters. I find The Lounge to be a bit too expensive and I am also rather loyal to other hairdressers in which I have been to a great deal more often.
