I have eaten here twice and played the open mic twice. The food is decidedly not bad, and the staff are super nice and friendly. The open mic night is among the few on a Saturday. The acoustics are good, and the evening is well run with superior talent.

Visited the Victoria recently for the first time and was very impressed. We ate there and not only was the food great but also good value and carefully prepared. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. Some people arrived later in the evening with instruments for a bit of jazz which summed the clientele up! Will definately be returning soon.

This lovely pub was one of our locals when we lived in the area. This charming pub has no loud music, wide screen televisions or table games (there are a few fruit machines though). It has loads of seating, friendly staff, Hoegarten on tap and a quiz night.
If you just want a cozy quiet place to nurse a pint or a traditional pub to bring friends to for a night out, this is a good place to choose.
