I have been looking to get links taken out of my watch for a while now and finally decided to put the watch into my bag and find a place whilst out and about on Saturday.
I used my trusty app to locate a watch repair shop near by and wondered down. I was however very aware of the fact that I was in Chelsea and heading to quite a suave Watch shop who did repairs, not repair shop that did watches.
We arrived and I knocked on the door — a gentlemen came over and unlocked the door and I explained why I was there. The gentleman invited me in and asked what watch it was and I told him, Michael Kors. He replied — ‘Ah, usually we wouldn’t but I used to work for them so go on then…’ He measured my wrist and headed downstairs.
Within 5 minutes he had taken out the links and my watch fitted beautifully. I asked ‘how much?’ and he said no charge — no charge, in Chelsea! Winning!
And off I went! Great customer service, polite and welcoming gentleman and my beautiful watch now sits perfectly on my list! HAPPY.
