November 2006 saw the opening of his eponymous restaurant, Theo Randall at The InterContinental, located at InterContinental London Park Lane, where his produce-driven approach to creating Italian-inspired dishes has earned him loyal followers and flattering reviews from critics and food-lovers.
In late 2008 the restaurant was crowned ‘Italian Restaurant of the Year’ at the London Restaurant Awards. In January 2010, Theo was named as the key factor behind Condé Nast Travellers’ decision to award InterContinental London Park Lane as the Best Hotel in the UK for Food and then in October 2010 his restaurant was named as one of the top five London Restaurants in the London Lifestyle Awards. The restaurant, uniquely, also appears in the Cucina d’Italia gourmet guide — the only UK restaurant to be selected.
