Been here on a few occasions to exchange currency as the rates are generally good. However this time purchased some Korean Won. Went to Korea spent nine of the currency went back to exchange back to sterling only to be told that one note was not real
Now that’s a puzzle as all the notes I had came from this shop and having spent none of the currency to be told that they be not e is not legal is outrageous.
They point blank refused to exchange the note in question even though I had the receipt to prove where they came from. When I challenged that they must have a record of the serial number of notes they have and dispense to people they still refused to take the nite back.
Trading standards here u come. If I could go zero stars they would have got that.
Take my advise exchange your hard earned money somewhere else.

Mas para garantir a melhor taxa é melhor ir no site e fazer uma ordem de «buy back money at branch». Apesar do site falar em imprimir a reserva, não é necessário. Basta dar o nome ao chegar no lugar que o funcionário localiza a reserva.

Normally a queue outside their shop when I head there as its generally lunchtime when I head over. I’ve just used them today to get € 200 at a rate of € 1.25. Honestly, they’re the best rates I’ve found. I was previously recommended them by a colleague a couple of years ago, and haven’t found better.
Here’s my tip, head to their website and place an order before going, I’ve even done it on the way there using my phone. They offer a better rate online, the one at the shop today was € 1.24 so not a great saving but every little helps. Most people seem to place their orders online so it’s a fairly quick process and the queue moves quickly. I’ve asked on a couple of occasions to increase the amount I’m changing and they’ve honoured the online rate, which also gets a thumbs up from me.

I think Thomas Exchange Global has pretty much the best rates you’re going to find on the high street in London and perhaps even the whole of the UK and they have really friendly service as well. Highly recommended. There’s several branches, you may find the one at Liverpool Street had a shorter queue than this one.
