This store has closed. There is now a Godiva shop in this location. Check the Thortons website for a different location. Oxford Street and Liverpool Station both still have shops.

This little Thorntons is very cute and always perks me up, location-​wise it is great, when you are pottering around covent garden and need a well known perk-​me-​up, you can’t go wrong with a bit of this place.
I am particularly partial to Thornton’s ice cream. For 1.80 you get a two massive scoops and a chocolate dipped cone. Oh and a chocolate fudge stick. The ice cream I ALWAYS go for is the mint honeycomb chip one and the toffee one. Together they are perfection. Trust me. Ask for toffee as the top scoop as the mint then refreshes you and you can eat the cone without too much trouble/​sickness.
For the winter months there are plenty of choco delights to choose from– the vienesse truffles are ace as is the toffee selection (not for those with dentures). Also, they have just introduced a range of amazing chocolate bars with ones boasting blueberry anti-​oxidant powers. Whatever, it is chocolate, I will eat it.
