Tollgate Lodge Healthcare Centre

have to be there at a certain time on a day to book appointments. Cannot phone to make an appointment. Cannot walk in to make a face to face appointment. Appointments must be phoned in from 8am. If, like me, you don't have a mobile phone then, you will not get any help. It used to be a good service but now, very very very poor. I give after walking in, talking to and asking questions as to get some help. I am so sad that help is not forthcoming for me.

Sniff cough cough, sniff…
I knew the say would come when I would be feeling a little under the weather and think to write up about these guys. Basically this is a NHS walk in centre with a proper doctors surgery attached.
It’s a little bit of a weird building anyway, like a little portable home that has been plonked behind a large fence and had a NHS sign plonked on it. I have to say that the people who work here are lovely, you can catch them on an off day and yes if you do just walk in expect to wait 3 hours, but as far as centres like this go, this is one of the best.
There is loads of waiting space and a pharmacy right next door in the Morrisons so it’s super continent. There is the Brooke Road surgery about 10 minutes walk from here but it’s not a patch on this place.
Oh and the doctors are friendly and the nurses caring! :O)
