I really enjoy Turkish meals but afraid me and partner did not enjoy it. The food was rushed, you can tell and the kofa was raw inside and the grilled pieces of chicken and lamp were just ok and the bread turned rock hard in no time, it was a sad day, left still hungry

I’ve had take away from this place before. Mixed kebab is really, really good. They deliver quickly! Try it out!

We love this place — it’s delicious, simple food served in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It’s also cheap which means it’s a great place to go on a week night when you cant be bothered to cook but still want something delicious. They do Schwarma now too which is one of my favourites with their freshly made hummus. Lastly, they have a waiter whose sense of humour is brilliant and always has the whole place smiling with his laugh — you have to try it once just for the comedy value.

The lovely people who run the Café on the Hill a bit further up Streatham Hill have opened this cute little Turkish café serving up tasty pide(Turkish filled flatbread) and a range of kebabs, starters & side dishes. There’s a reasonably-priced lunchtime special offer, and the portions are generous, especially on the kebabs… but the pides are what you should be ordering here. Smiley staff and simple décor top everything off nicely. All in all, it’s nothing to write home about but is good honest food, priced well, served with a smile.
