History

Established in 1990.

Carla Turchini started her graphic design studio, Turchini Design, in the early 1990s after having worked freelance for five years for the graphic design department of the Inner London Education Authority.

Turchini Design is a small well-​established bilingual design and new media studio located in the heart of Bloomsbury, Central London, between the West End and The City, just around the corner from the British Museum.

During all these years the studio has worked for UK educational publishers, national and international UK companies, small local companies and charities and extensively for The British Museum Press. The studio designed the present Visitor’s Guide.

Turchini Design offers bespoke design services for print and online delivery.

I am Carla Turchini, a bilingual graphic designer.

I have worked in the graphic design sector for over 20 years, and I love my job.

I started my studio, Turchini Design, in the early 1990s after having freelanced for five years for the graphic design department of the Inner London Education Authority.

I believe in fairness, loyalty and cooperation and I do my very best to promote good design and ensure that graphic design remains a qualified profession. I deplore hypocrisy, malevolence and lack of empathy.
