One of my favorite places in Shoreditch ! The outside area is the best place in Brick lane without a doubt ! There’s everything, good food good vibes good music ! The inside is also very nice to listen to good groups of music and grab a drink. Alcohol is quite cheap as well(£4 for a beer) ! Enjoy

Hmm… definitely not *my* kind of vibe. I tagged along with a friend today who likes the place. I’ll start with the good: –the major, standalone saving grace of this place is the extra-large al fresco seating area. Arrive on a sunny, warm day while traipsing around Brick Lane and I’m sure you’d enjoy yourself. Here are the downsides: It’s a perplexing, labyrinth-like space on the inside, and the main vibe and old school music in the main bar is deeply uninspiring. There was nothing about the main bar that would compel me to return. There’s much, much better options around Shoreditch for watering holes. If for anything else, go for the outdoor experience.

What an awesome place! What they’ve done with this site is really awesome. Vibe bar has it all, the atmosphere, the venue, the point of difference. There is always something going on. I love love love the outdoor Courtyard area. I feel like it transports you almost to a place that’s not entirely in the centre of London. Plus at the moment they have a Vietnamese kitchen taking over for the month of June. Yum yum yum!

I view this bar as a filthy, overcrowded bar that offers little in terms of either good beer, atmosphere or much else. The only thing it has going for it is a crowd– that is what draws you in. It leads you to believe they must be doing something right to be pulling in that many. But really its just a pack mentality phenomena. If you want to get out and mingle among a bunch of new blokes, this will work — then again so will a lot of other bars in shoreditch.

Great place. I go everytime Im in London. This time the manager had an issue with the tap on the beer I ordered. No problem I was not in a hurry and chatted to friends while he tried to fix the issue however on being unable to fix the pump he gave me a bottle of the sane beer on the house! A nice surprise and a much appreciated gesture. Needless to say we stayed for a few and will be back again.

Vibe Bar was recommended to be by a friend for being a good dance place. Got there went through the usual door bouncer dance to let me in. Eventually I got in. The place has a big open area when u first walk in, with wooden table benches. All the dancing happens inside in the bar area. The music was A-OK however wasn’t my flavor, too much pop. I guess it was to satisfy the mainly 18 – 25 crowd that was there on that Saturday night. Its a cool place to go to in a group and have lots of drinks and be silly on the dance floor. However not the place to go to experience music and a good sound system.

Maybe it was because I was here mid-week and there wasn’t much going on and I was alone which didn’t really help. The good thing was being able to sit outside and enjoy a pint in the sun. I imagine it would be a great place to hang out with a big group of friends on a nice sunny afternoon. I also spied a bbq which when fired up would be an added treat. I’ll come back with some mates next time.

I mean. It’s fine. Not terrible, not amazing. It’s basically a big yard with a load of benches where you can drink. Nothing much more than that. But hey, if it’s a nice hot day, and you don’t want to have to queue or wait to get in somewhere, then this is the one for you. There will likely be room for you to sit down with your mates or at least share a table. The drinks are fairly reasonably priced — £4.60 for a pint. Bar staff are grand as well. Not overly friendly, not overly snobby! They had a few kegs and drinks that were out, which I thought was a bit sloppy in prime drinking weather such as that which we’re having! Oh — they also have a jerk chicken stand outside which does wraps, burgers etc, with extra additions like plantain, or a bean option for veggies. Most items go for about a fiver. It was pretty damn delicious to be honest.

Went there on Friday evening: — entrance fee: 5 per person — nice, large courtyard for partying outside on a nice summer evening — I liked the music inside — mixed audience; lots of good dancers — washrooms are quite clean You can go there, but it is nothing special!

I’m cool and edgy yeah? Went here for the evening of the 25th jan 2013, cos it had the guy from Rinse Fm dj’ing(apparently, I had no clue who it was but sssshhh! I’m cool and edgy yeah?). Brick lane in itself is a really good place to go for funky drinks, lots of trendy bohemian bars about the place. Rad. It has a massive outside seating area which I’m guessing is packed in the summer. There was also a little hot Caribbean food stall for when you stumble out later feeling peckish. Excellent! There were 2 floors of different music the first being sexy kind of house music, and there were a few places to sit if you were lucky enough to grab a table. Everyone was very cheerful, no bad VIBES. Upstairs was this DJ that everyone knew(but me) and it was pretty good up there. Mixed bag of people which was nice. Considering how many people were there I didn’t have to queue for the toilet once which was a touch — sufficient toilet space… Nice! Drinks were your usual bar stuff, served in plastic cups which is always a pet hate of mine. My biggest niggle about this place though, was that it shut at 1! Wtf? Why would they do that the place was packed! It had only just started really… Very odd. I asked why and they replied that it always shut then in the winter… We’re not outside?! Silly they could have doubled their money.

Vibe Bar is well appointed and has a massive outdoor courtyard which is excellent in the summer. Unfortunately, the real letdown here is the price it’s really very expensive, no doubt cashing in on the fact it’s a stone’s throw from Shoreditch High Street. It’s a shame, because it could be so much better if it were just a little cheaper and just a little better laid out. Oh, and if the service improved, that wouldn’t be the worst thing.

This place has a great funky atmosphere in the summer. You definitely want to come when the outdoor area is open. You can find food vendors and even live music here on the weekends during the summer. I went during the Brick Lane festival last year and grooved to some fun London bands while enjoying a pint in the sunshine… without the festival prices!

A great place to sit and enjoy the buzz that coming with Brick Lane and and the East London funk. Especially loving to grab a seat in the large outside space and soak up the hot of vitamin D! On arrival it can be a bit of a battle to park your behind on a bench, so make sure you follow these rules: 1) Split up — one or two mate go to the bar, the rest of you skulk around like hungry hyena. 2) Perch — Put your drinks on the corner of one of the tables that is in use. Make sure you select a table where the seated have there jackets on or have equal to or less than half a glass. 3) Crowd — If a couple have a big old six man picnic bench, ask, join them and make yourself real comfortable! Include them on your frivolity and soon enough if they ‘were’ out for a romantic drink that will soon come to an end and as if big magic your rump has found a new home. The inside space is huge but a bit grubby, like that of a night club during the day. However it’s large and airy. The toilets are a little naughty with slightly pornographic or perhaps just crude images on the wall — kinda of make you wonder what happens behind the closed doors of the stalls of an evening. Hmmmm! Lastly, for the people watcher amongst us, you’ll love it. The ideal spot to drink in a snap shot of what makes London such a unique melting pot. See the shapes, sizes, colours, flavours… I love people and I love this city.

Vibe bar can not be missed on Brick Lane, it big! Its not my choice of a bar that I would go to,(I was here for a birthday and a gig) its alright, couple of sofas and big tables, and toilets that could do with a spruce up. On the gig occasion the sound was brilliant, but the air conditioner in the bar could of been better especially when you go about 30 – 40 people up in their and its hot! They have a good stack of event flyer’s to tell you what going in down in London town, including their own. They have club nights and gigs going on monthly check their website. They are also have a gallery as well, I have not gone to that bit yet. I love the courtyard, with the barbecue outside, I have yet to dine their but its seems awesome in summer. Maybe I’ll come back with an update review once Ive tried the food and seen the gallery.

It’s like a beer garden run by house heads. Day time on weekends there’s usually some sort of D&B and house vinyl fair mixed in with a handful of food stalls and a haircut tent. At night it’s a total chill out central, with turntables manned by what appears to be underground house DJ’s from the local scene. The property is actually a working recording studio with what I understand to be exorbitantly expensive apartments atop. Still, the place looks and feels more like an over-run community college or medical building.

An East London Summer classic. Apart from London Fields or your nearest park, this is the place to be on a warm summers day. The courtyard is brilliant for sitting in the sun drinking beers with your mates. The rooms inside are big and spacious too and chances are they’ll be playing some funky music. Not much pretence here — wear what you want and drink what you want. The mood changes a little come night time — it then fancies itself as a destination and a pub/club. There are better options for that time of night elsewhere, but Vibe will do just fine if you want to make an all-dayer of it. Roll on Summer. See you there.

This place is the perfect sunny-day bar if you are on Brick Lane and you want to sit outside(trust me the options are actually kind of limited!) All year round there is a BBQ and a jerk chicken stand — both of which I will totally vouch for. If there is a big sporting event on they will get out their big screen(I watched several World Cup games here). Everyone gets really into it and it’s a really nice atmosphere. Within walking distance of several decent clubs, it’s a good place to start your night.

This used to be one of my local hangouts back in the day. But other locations have taken priority in the many years since i’ve hung out here. Last week, me and my mates have taken back on to this bar for the outdoor space which is terribly lacking in the shoreditch/brick lane area. Then i remember how much I really like this bar. If theres no indoor space, then there’s always something outside. Bar prices are similar to other bars. and outdoor food vendors on the premise. Can’t go wrong!

This venue has lots and lots of potential, but, having checked it out a couple of times, it just doesn’t quite hit the mark for me. The crowd is a bit random so that may be one reason. But it may also be because it’s biggest asset(the abundance of space) is probably it’s biggest shortfall(the inability to create a true atmosphere). I have only been here in the evenings so I could not tell you what it is like during the day, but the lay of the land is this. You enter at a gate(there is indeed a cover charge) and pass a number of wooden tables outside. Good for, I imagine, dining on the burgers on offer and also a little smokers’ paradise. Enter the building and you feel like you are about to enter a house, but actually you are just led on into a big room, which vaguely has a dancing area but basically it is one large milling area with a bar on the far end and sofas in various corners. There is also a DJ in this room. There is also a sort of mezzanine milling area, nothing much happens here. It has a little bar but it is never open, and then another massive room upstairs, which I visited on my second visit when Soul Brew Karaōke was on. Now this is a fantastic set up, quite entertaining, if you like watching both fantastic and awful amateur vocalists have a crack on the mic. It is entertaining, but the novelty factor wears off some. Do it once though if you can catch vibe bar on this night. The drinks are standard, no special cocktail menus to speak off. All in all I like it is a stopover but not somewhere to spend the whole night. Apologies I have not, during the writing of this review, been able to identify what, exactly, it is lacking, other than atmosphere. Enjoy. x

A cool, chilled out atmosphere during the day offering a great place to recover from the night before or an interesting space to catch up with friends over the internet by using their free wi-fi. During the evening it promises to be a lively and exciting destination. Vibe’s arty décor of graffiti walls and shabby chic sofas brings in the trendy crowds to enjoy live music, DJs and even VJs(Video Jockeys). The music here is similar to that of the other brick lane bars and clubs but no matter what your taste you’ll fins something that’s your bag. Vibe even has debates where they invite guests speakers, academics and journalists to discuss various of the minute issues and if your there on a dry sunny day you can enjoy the BBQ that’s cooking outside! This place will have something to please everybody and you never know-you may even learn something here while having a great time?!
