Love this place! After a long morning in rainy London, our family ducked in here and it was such a treat. Good tea and treats, but loved the feel of the place. I have to meet so many people in the States over coffee/starbucks, and wish a Tea type place would open up here. Thanks for serving us and energizing us for a great visit to St. Paul’s.

I was here on Easter Day, 2007, after making a blustery trek from St. Paul’s Cathedral. My friends and I happily ducked inside to warm up and chat over our hot tea and scones, which we enjoyed very much. The seating area was modest and the four of us were grateful to see a party clearing out just as we came in. We sat at a heavy wooden table while we watched the snow fall outside through large windows. I would be content to have a TEA back in the states. I hear that Starbucks is opening its own chain of tea shops, but I won’t let myself get excited; America will never be Europe. It’s impossible to find an authentic scone in Phoenix, AZ, much less a generous dollop of Devonshire cream. You can find a delicious enchilada with sour cream on every corner, but it’s just not the same…
