Love this little pub. Location is very close to the Burberry global headquarters and the doubletree(where I stayed). The staff is absolutely the best. Friendly and fun. The interior was cozy and warm on a nice cold rainy night. The beers very good. The bartender and server was very knowledgable and the food was good too. Good fish and chips and pies. Ended up going back twice. The manager even loaned us an umbrella the first night due to the rain. What business does that now days… Loved it. I wish I lived close to it so I could have my very own little cozy pub to visit like in Cheers.

Very pleasant décor and friendly staff. I was underwhelmed with the food, though. I ordered the mushroom on garlic bread for starters, and there was far too much sauce. The steak and ale pie was cooked a bit too long, causing the pastry to be overdone and tough. My friend ordered the fish and chips. The fish was outstanding, but the chips were standard fare you’d find in the freezer section of the grocery store.

We were staying at the nearby DoubleTree London Westminster hotel during our recent trip to London, so we ate lunch here one day. Of all the pubs that we went to during our trip, the White Swan probably had the nicest interior and the nicest selection of cask conditioned ales. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch here. The following day, we tried to come back around 10:45pm to grab another beer… but they were already closing shop and wouldn’t serve us. The unfortunate thing is that we had tried to look up their hours beforehands, but couldn’t find it posted anywhere!(not even on the store’s front door)

Great English pub with several beers on tap. Even a few seasonal beers like«Hobgoblin». I enjoyed the meat pies the most.

Food is served until 9:30pm. We had nachos and garlic mushrooms which were both okay and cost £8. The staff were all very friendly and you can get some sort of discount if you join their pubs club or something like that, which is useful if you come often

Waren Ostern 2010 da. Ganz netter Pub. Essen war sehr gut. Fish and Chips lecker. Verschiedene englische Biere im Ausschank. Bier mußte man selber an der Theke holen, erspart das«Warten auf den Kellner». London Pride schmeckte very delicious. Die Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Wenn man in der Nähe ist lohnt es sich mal vorbei zu schauen.

Went for sunday lunch/dinner. They had run out of all chicken options. The roast potatos were very dry. I wouldn’t bother with this place again.

rantmode Surely in the pubs for dummies book, one of the basic instructions must be that if your kitchen is closed for whatever reason you go around and remove all the food menus from tables. I mean, not only is it better for the customer who doesn’t waste 5 minutes trying to decide what they want before finding out it was all in vain, surely for the poor guy behind the bar it is easier as less people will approach with the misconception that they might actually be able to eat something. It hadn’t just closed either as we stayed for a while and on the tables those menus stayed /rantmode Besides my moans above, there isn’t much to recommend this pub, so despite the fact that this pub does serve a nice pint of ale and has a pleasant looking(if painfully empty) interior, it is only worth 2 stars

A great after work pub. When I used to travel to London on business I spent my days in Millbank Tower. Most days you’d find me here after work for a pint or two.

I used to come here a lot when I was at Chelsea College, which is just around the corner. You find that there isn’t much of a choice for places to eat or drink, that are decent, around here. The food is your usual pub grub, but nevertheless good. I only used to come here because of uni, otherwise it’s not a place I would make an effort to go to. It’s one of those places which is good to drop by if you happen to be in the area.

The White Swan pub has traditional British charm. There are large influxes of locals that frequent this pub, due in part to its location. Inside there are many beautiful oak tables and if you’re feeling competitive there is a video game version of Monopoly you can play for just 50p! I love the tasty food menu too. I had Mexican nachos and fried potatoes with bacon! There are two main rooms inside, one in the back that’s great for celebrations and a quieter area in the front of the pub.

This is a great little place, hidden away in central London. In the day time its great for the family and they do traditional british food. The drinks are good value for money and the staff are all friendly and professional. It has a warm and cosy atmosphere. They offer sports on the TV s well as renting out for private dos. Great for a local pub.
