Whole Foods Market

This is a Church /​Temple for all things health and wellness. It’s the ultimate supermarket for foodies or anyone with a cookbook that requires odd ingredients.
My boyfriend required hazelnut oil for a recipe so we popped in for that and ended up with organic goose fat, organic onions and oranges, carrots and rye bread before I thought our shopping basket looked way too virtuous and added in a deliciously rich slice of rocky road packed with marshmallows, biscuit, cherries and walnut.
The ground floor is all fresh produce and cheese whereas the basement floor has store cupboard ingredients and a huge section dedicated to high quality chocolate brands (ok I snuck some Montemuza choc into the basket too)
The top floor is full of cafes inc the marvellous Bone Daddies, and it’s a great place to kill time if you’re in the Kensington area. It’s not cheap, but there’s a lot of choice — from salads and sushi to burritos. Anywhere that serves good burritos deserves 4 stars.

Where do I begin? This place puts the Whole Foods in the US to shame. The food court is just the best. I went to Shabu Shabu and had a noodle dish. It as great.
The store itself covers three levels — the ground and first floor are groceries and the top floor is the food court.
I was amazed that they sold individual eggs.

This Whole Foods Market is the biggest in the world and it really is food-​shop heaven!
There is such a huge array of healthy, wholesome foods that you are really spoilt for choice. From the cheese room, to the bar area complete with charcuterie and automatic wine tasting dispensers, to the nut butter machines (you can grind your own peanut butter). This place really has it all for food enthusiasts!
On the top you can also find several restaurants– I have been to Bone Daddies for Ramen and it was really delicious.
It’s always a treat to come to this store and I look forward to returning again very soon!

Ended up here by chance and what a lovely place it was! As well as a good range of eateries there is a fantastic store below full of great food to buy. I had a calzone pizza which was delicious and the price was not too bad! I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you want connection to the Internet though. It took a while to get onto the wifi which still didn’t work properly and 3G did not work well.

The Whole Foods is no doubt the best supermarket in UK, I can find any ingredients I need here. Their food counter also provides good food with proper quality. Definitely will visit again.

Not sure this is my favourite store, the main reason being that I find them extremely expensive. Yes they have a great selection of good but you can also find these goods at most other health store. Many of which can be found throughout London. I also struggled to find my way around the store. Yes it is good for a pop-​in but not sure I would be able to do my regular shopping here.

We need Whole Foods in NZ is all i can say!
After living just down the road from Whole Foods at High st Ken in London i am a huge fan. It’s the best one stop shop for all your food and wine needs, or a great spot for a quick bite of lunch, or a coffee on the go.
I personally find London slightly behind (although rapidly improving) on the coffee scene so Whole Foods has always been a great option for a decent coffee.
The displays at Whole Foods are always incredible, my personal favourite is the large mound/​pile of raspberry meringues, the colours are amazing, and of course they taste as good as they look, they also make a fabulous eton mess.
I recently went to the Whole Foods on Fulham road, this one is not as big but obviously has the same products and is awesome also.

I was visiting London for a few days and was very excited to find a Whole Foods here. As a vegan, I was a bit worried about finding food nearby sightseeing. This was the perfect place to eat after exploring Hyde park and the Kensington Palace. They have a selection of Amy’s frozen meals (including the vegan mac & cheese) and a microwave (on the 3 floor near the toilets), so it was also a very cheap meal — under 3 pounds.
My husband, who is vegetarian, ate twice at the Mexican restaurant in the food court on the third floor and was very satisfied with it.
Only four stars because it was crowded, cramped and not very easy to navigate, although we didn’t wait long to check out.

I was in London for a few days and popped into Whole Foods as I have never been before, and wow. The selection of food there is amazing. Really wish they would open in Dublin!

Definitely does not compare to the US stores – small, cramped, the fruit section is lacking – yes I know it’s the dead of winter in a island country, some of the fruit was over ripe to the point it had dark spots – I would not see that at Whole Foods in the US.
The cut fruit looked fresh, but the pineapple gave me a bit of a stomach ache. It might have been from the acid in the pineapple.
That said, I was definitely happy to see it in London, since I could not find organic apples anywhere.

Es más que un supermercado! Y encima es bio. Hay de todo lo habido y por haber! Y los precios para ser productos bio (y lo digo porque al ser así siempre incrementan el precio) estan muy bien. Tienen una gran variedad de comidas hechas y listas para llevar muy saludables y a buen precio.
Además puedes comer ahí mismo o tomar café/​te en la parte de arriba. Me ha encantado. No me lo esperaba así.

Este sitio es una verdadera monstruosidad.
Había oído hablar de estas franquicias en USA y me alegro saber antes de viajar, que Londres tenía varias repartidas.
Tienen absolutamente de todo, y cuando digo de todo, quiero decir DE TODO.
Puedes comer, almorzar, tomar café o te, comprar, cenar, desayunar. De locos.
Sí quieres comprar algo de comida saludable o disfrutar de ella en alguna de sus 300 millones de mesas, no se a que esperas.

A whole foods market in Richmond is bound to be fantastic and this one definitely doesn’t disappoint.
This place is just one indulgent thing after another, from making your own peanut butter to a muesli bar where you can tailor your muesli with loads of lovely ingredients.
The scoop section looked amazing, the cakes looked amazing, in fact everything was AMAZING!
The only downside being i don’t live in Richmond!

this whole foods is wonderful. simply being inside the store and walking around makes me happy. i love the selection of in-​store nut butters and the muesli making station. The upstairs food court style area is amazing and is a great place to go with a laptop to do work. It gets pretty busy during lunch time but there is always room to find a table and plug-​in. I particularly like the asian bowl station where for around 5 pounds you can get a huuuuuge bowl of delicious asian veggies in a sauce of your choice. The curry sauce there is delicious I could eat it everyday.

This is the best Whole Foods in London, if not all of England.
As a native Californian, I am well versed in the way of Whole Foods. The one on Kensington High Street is pretty massive. It spans three floors, the top of which is a food court area with several different vendors. I’ve seen these change over the years, but as of right now they’ve got Japanese, BBQ, pizza, Southeast Asian, and Mediterranean fare.
On the ground floor you’ll my my favourite section: the bakery. This is where I come every year to get my coveted pumpkin pies. Yes, they’re outrageously expensive (£12), but I can’t cook so I don’t mind. They also have pretty good cookies, brownies, and other tasty treats.
Other highlights of this Whole Foods include the extensive wine selection, fancy (but stinky) cheese room, and a fun little chocolate aisle filled with delicious treats.
If you’re American, you’ll find a few gems here like American BBQ sauce, Canadian maple syrup, etc.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend Whole Foods for you weekly grocery needs, but it’s perfect if you’re whipping up a special meal or have a craving for pumpkin pie.
The only downside (other than the price and the fact that I don’t live nearby anymore!) is unbelievably crowded it can get, especially on weekends and near holidays.

I miss this Whole Foods all the time. I studied abroad in London about four years ago, and I seriously think of this Whole Foods on a semi-​regular basis. I’m from the States, so Whole Foods are everywhere, and this one is the best I’ve been to. I loved going to the foot court they had and just looking at everything. I could never make up my mind. Also, there is a brand of apple cider that I can’t get in the US and I would walk to this Whole Foods for it on a weekly basis. I don’t remember the name, but I’d know it once I saw it. Also, I bought a Whole Foods grocery bag here that says Kensington and London and it and it’s awesome and people ask my about it all the time. LOL. Anyway, maybe it sounds stupid, but the next time I’m in London I will for sure be making a stop here at least once.

I love the whole setup. Very earthy and it looks very tempting from the outside.
One of my friends bought the Sushi, which he said was the best super market type he ever eaten. Where as I had the mixed buffet, which was disappointing as the food were dry, and had no taste to them.

Ah the familiar glow of the Whole Foods green sign. There is something comforting about seeing a brand you know and love when you’re half way around the world. Total admission– up until we saw the grocery store on Kensington St I had no idea Whole Food was anywhere but the USA. Come to find out there are 20+ international stores in England and Canada. How about that…
and how about this location. As to be expected on a Sunday afternoon it was busting with families doing their weekly shopping. Having a hotel-​breakfast-​buffet available to us, and plans to visit a local pub for dinner later we didn’t actually need any food at Whole Foods. We just stopped in for a bit of air conditioning and a bathroom break. Yup, after a walk through Kensington Gardens we stopped by to use the restroom. And a fine rest room it has. Plenty of stalls, clean floors and sinks, and clever hand dryers.
Knowing the brand well enough, had we needed any food or drinks this would have been a great place for us to stop by for some snacks or even lunch. And should we stay in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stop back in. Good food + clean bathrooms. What more could you ask for?

Many times I’ve searched local stores for veggie snacks and health foods, only to be disappointed. Not so with Whole Foods; this place is like magic in a sea of generic London groceries.
There are three bright floors, so you’re guaranteed to find just about anything — from healthy prepared foods, baked goods, and plenty of gluten-​free, vegan, and cruelty-​free options. Plus, the hot food and salad bars make for delicious take-​away lunch boxes.
The top floor (with a café/​restaurants) has surprisingly good variety. I love using this floor as a study spot — free wifi, LOTS of seating, and organic coffee to fuel my work. Since it’s a larger store, no one minds if you sit for a few hours with a laptop.

Certainly one of my favorite places in the world. Everything organic, British, creative, and fun.

This is the most epic Whole Foods I have ever been to and I have visited two of the largest the United States has to offer. What I enjoy most at this location is the wine bar hands down! The other is their variety of selections with cheese, meat, seafood and produce. They hold tasting events often and have great deals weekly. A huge plus for city dwellers is they face that they deliver for free if you spend over 50 pounds. This location has so much to offer!

WHOLEFOODS is my idea of heaven. Like seriously, if i were to only have access to one shop in my life, it would be wholefoods. And particularly the Kensington one.
I love the large array of fresh produce, and how you can select the grains, nuts and seeds you want, and the weight you want.
I love the way you can produce your nut butter to the amount you want, and it does it all there for you. You can watch the whole nuts turn to butter.
I love the selection of gluten, and dairy free foods. As this is a huge thing for me, being allergic to both.
I love the massive selection of beauty products and cleaning products.
And lets not forget the selection of chocolates.
And lastly, i love that i can come to this place and get my lunch to eat there and then. Although its a little more expensive than most places, but the whole experience, makes it worth while for me.

Alles, was das vegane Herz begehrt! Sehr nachahmenswert ist die Station, an der man sich die verschiedenen Nussmuse selbst rauslassen kann. Sehr ausgereiftes Konzept. Wenn sich das in der Einkaufspolitik und im Umgang mit den Mitarbeitenden so durchzieht, dann ist das ein toller Laden, den ich auch gerne in Deutschland sehen würde.

Habe Austern an der OYSTER Bar genossen zusammen mit einem Glas Chablis. Die Bedienung an der OYSTER Bar ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, allerdings nicht 100% kompetent; z.B. wurde die neu geöffnete Weinflasche nicht zum Degustieren gereicht. Die Auswahl der Austern und der Preis ist ok. Die Atmosphäre ist aber nie so mondän, wie im grossen Vorbild Harrods.
