I decided I needed something more satisfying and more healthy than a samosa from the shop between the platforms at Baker Street station. Quite a tough call because you need to touch out through the barriers to get to this relatively new addition to the Yo! family. It doesn’t look all that great from the outside but once inside you forget you are on a really ugly corner on one of London’s most disappointing streets. I probably should have taken my time and sat down along the conveyor belt — they have a January offer of £2.70 a plate! Instead I picked one of the remaining pre-packed takeaway selections and ordered my favourite Yo! rolls(£4.00 for two, not exactly a bargain). Yo! never disappoints though and I enjoyed my sushi treat once I got home. Unlike Wasabi you get your soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger thrown in.

Yo Sushi ain’t bad. It’s a chain, but nothings wrong with that, most places are anyway. An attraction is the fact that you’re surrounded by a moving conveyor belt with sushi rolling past you every moment. It’s a very exciting and sometimes nerve racking experience for people like me who want to try every single thing, but aren’t sure if the next thing will be better, or which to choose, or ‘oh that looks pretty!’… oh lord so many options!!! It’s a cool idea, and we liked almost all the sushi we had, though it’s nothing AMAZING. If you haven’t seen something wander by you within a certain amount of time you can also order something straight from the waiter. Win, win WIN. oh yeahhhh

Tried several sushi restaurants in this part of London. Yo Sushi is a good value/quality trade off. It isn’t as cheap as Wasabi ot Itsu but the quality and selection are significantly better. Dinner for under £20 is easy if you pay attention to the color of the dishes that indicate the price of each one. Personally i just grab whatever I feel like, but it’s still usually only a little over 20. The food does come on a conveyor belt and if you want less common fish or personalised service then this isn’t the place for you. But otherwise a decent deal.

In my opinion is not so bad! It is quite cheap and the quality offered is good(in comparison to the price). I love this kind of sushi bar, but i am still wondering how food can stay fresh while it is turning on the tape between the tables! Will be the«heat resistent cover»? But anyway the staff is nice and i have asked for a bowl of white rice and they have been quite quickly… ok that its cooking is not so difficult but i really appreciated the non-waiting factor as I was quite on hurry because of my work. I think i will definitely come back and i will try something more fishy as I just had rose and japanese beans! Water is refillable! You just pay 120£ and then you can refill every time you want. Bathroom are down the stairs and the place is well cleaned.

Been to Yo sushi to create #yomoments Love the food and specially the pumpkin dish which is my favourite. Really good options for vegetarians! A must go place.

Yo Sushi’s restaurants are getting ever smaller while the prices are getting higher. It’s tiny. This place is ‘new’ but it looks tired already. The service is blasé. It’s obvious their staff are not trained very well and they barely speak English. I had to call for service and the place wasn’t even busy. Never again.

We loved this place! Being Americans I think part of the charm was the fountains at each table where we could refill our own water glasses. Service was somewhat slow but we were fine with that. Sake was tasty and fish was fresh. Recommend! Tip: don’t let the kids sit near the conveyor belt or they’ll over order. ;)

OK so the benefits of this place are the free wifi and late hours, but after trying it twice, I just don’t think the food taste very good — perhaps due to the drenching sauce, lack of flavors, or just the weird combo of ingredients… Good service though.

Wow, ist ja alles so schön bunt hier! Running sushi, take away sushi und alles was das japanische Herz höher schlagen lässt. Eine japanische Insel in London. Wers nicht lassen kann macht einen Sushikurs… hier! Essen ist korrekt und frisch, das Personal nett und die Musik gut.

My sister took me here and I was pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty and fresh. Had a beer with the meal that was crisp and dry. My only complaint is that you have to pay for a glass of water. Friendly and efficient staff.

Much better quality fish than some of the other yo sushi branches. Service is slow but with a smile so you don’t mind. Skip the tomago-it was cold and plasticky.
