The shop is ok, but this is not really a review of the shop, more the race track…
I really like this place, as a venue, and a place to ride my motorbike!
I’ve seen plently of bike racing here — national, international and club level racing. I was even once offered the chance to be a passenger in a sidecar — I declined, looks way to dangerous.
There are 2 different circuits here, one the short Indy circuit, and the other longer GP circuit. I’ve only ridden on the Indy circuit. There is nothing like approaching Paddock Hill bend on a motorbike, a blind entry, which then falls away. An awesome experience, testing your nerve as you decide how late you can leave your braking, before slinging the bike onto it’s side, and descending the hill whilst opening the throttle and powering up to the hairpin. It has to be experienced to be understood. The reason I’m writing this review now? Well I’m going to be here over the weekend for the national superbike racing — BSB, for those in the know.
