Pip

It’s an eatery in an airport. Worse, that airport is Luton. You can’t expect very much.
Still, I do expect not to be charged the higher eat in price automatically without asking and to have a bagel that has some structural integrity rather than having the ingredients all over the place in a difficult mess. I also expect to get the drink I order rather than having it missed off.
You don’t really have much choice when you’re captive in the departure lounge; still, there must be better places around.

Eine echte Überraschung im Londoner Flughafen Luton. Bei Pip bekommt man leckere Bagels, frisch zubereitet, und dazu auch köstliche Milchshakes, ebenfalls mit frischem Obst gemacht. Ideal für den kleinen Hunger vor dem Abflug, und preislich moderat. Einziger Kritikpunkt: es dauert relativ lange, bis das Essen kommt, deshalb muss man schon die Zeit gut einplanen, um nicht gehetzt zum Abflug-​Gate rennen zu müssen.

This place does lovely and reasonable smoothies. My luck was in as their daily special was a lime, raspberry and pineapple smoothie which was excellent.
I was a bit disappointed by the choices of bagels this place had. I know you can ‘build your own’ but I am lazy. So I didn’t bother.
