Penny Farthing Hotel is a 23 bedroom hotel situated in the village of Lyndhurst in the heart of the New Forest. The hotel is situated just a minute from all Lyndhurst’s amenities, shops, banks, museum, visitor center, pubs & restaurants and just a short stroll from beautiful open forest heath land. All the rooms are en-​suite, we have a comfortable lounge & bar area and small garden. All our rates are inclusive of Full English breakfast, Free parking, Free WiFi and Tea & coffee facilities.

Business guests are most welcome we are only 15 minutes away from Fawley & Marchwood and 20 minutes from Southampton. We offer competitive one night or long term rates all year round. History

Established in 1993.

Penny Farthing Hotel was left unloved for a number of years before Mike purchased the building and re named the building Penny Farthing Hotel.

From then the business has grown from an 11 room hotel to a 23 bedroom hotel along with eight self catering cottages, it has been extensively refurbished and is continually maintained to ensure standards are high for both our new guests and our old faithfuls who regularly return. Penny Farthing Hotel now stands proud as the highest rated AA hotel in Lyndhurst at 81% and offers the best freshly cooked full English breakfast for miles!
