I truly hate this shop. It’s awful. Ridiculously overpriced, bad quality, basically rubbish clothes. Really really bad. It has nothing original, everything is dark and dreary, stupidly small sizes, unfriendly staff and I’m going to mention it again because it’s such a rip off… obscenely overpriced! The boys clothes are beyond awful. We actually use ‘all-saints-boy’ as a derogatory term, as in; «The place was full of posers, idiot all-saints-boys everywhere». Bleugh. Worst shop in Manchester as far as I’m concerned.

I like the clothes in All Saints but the caveat I that this only applies to the clothing for men. The clothes for girls are crap! It’s like two years ago they came up with one weird shaped dress that flatters no female form and have since rolled out every variation possible. If you do buy anything else it tends to fall apart, lose its buttons, shrink and what does All Saints do about it? Nothing, not even a refund. What they do give you is vouchers… to spend on silly shaped dresses in their shop again, thanks All Saints. This one is in Selfridges which adds to my dissatisfaction with the place. Now I get to walk through load of floors of things I cant buy just to reach the shop that sells weird shaped dresses… YES!

The stripped back, raw feel of All Saints stores gives them something of a movie set/photo shoot feel. Stepping inside you are instantly whisked away from whatever high street that lead you there and plonked right into the middle of some Nightmare On Elm St themed magazine spread… in a good way. Now, imagine if you will, being disturbed whilst you’re in the middle of miming to heavy rock in your bedroom, hairbrush for mic, mirror as crowd– all the things which you previously thought were cool about your private are now the very things that embarrass you. This is the problem that Selfridges All Saints has– the lack of front doors or any other separation from the other outlets exposes it for the pompous and overly serious place it really is. The once swaggering staff now look embarrassed and as customer you begin to understand how it must feel to pick up top shelf material from a busy newsagents. Put your brush down All Saints, you are not a rock star.
