I bought a voucher for a sports massage from Core as a present to myself for completing the Manchester marathon. I wasn’t sure what to expect other than it wasn’t going to be soft and relaxing.
David was very friendly, welcoming and easy to talk to. He managed to distract me during the 50 minutes that he spent pummelling my legs which was good — it really hurt! But it was the sort of pain that you know will feel good in the end.
The location is easy to get to and the space looks like a great place to work out in if you’re after one of their personal training sessions. It is relaxed and open and not too pretentious yet they clearly know what they’re talking about when it comes to fitness.
