This a clean and tidy, no frills, inexpensive hotel. Staff are polite and helpful. Rooms are compact but there is a little desk/shelf for your laptop and there is a TV. Shower cubicle is brilliant(room for 2!) with powerful shower. You can have continental style breakfast for a few quid and 24 hour machines for drinks, food etc are in the hotel lobby. You have to pay for car parking but it is worth it for secure parking in that area. You will find it difficult to book when Manchester United(about 800 yds down the road) are playing as it seem s to fill up with Scandanavians and Irish supporters so book well ahead. Also when the football is on, get your car into the carpark very early or you may not be able to park even if you have paid in advance. Salford Quays is just across the road with cinema, restaraunts, shops and Metro within wasy walking range. There is a Tesco Express(open until 10) 100yds away and other convenience stores as well as a 24hour Subway sandwich place at the Garage next door. I stayed there for about 2 months last year when working in Salford Quays and found it generally good.
