In my opinion this place deserves an extra star just for being in a decent location. It’s very close to a cluster of lecture buildings, which places it in the prime spot for student attraction. You can do photocopying in here, or binding, or buy sweets, drinks, newspapers. Essentially everything you would hope a newsagents to offer, so it doesn’t win any awards for originality or going the extra mile. To be honest, I don’t why I gave it four stars not three after writing all that, but I’ll be nice this time and say the location makes it a very useful place to drop by.

Finlays convenience store, very convenient indeed. If you’re like me and have lectures in the nearby buildings this place can be a god-send for photocopying and what have you; once the study rooms are chock a block with desperate people. I even heard of students turning to Finlays for help in those few dark hours before a dissertation deadline, as the business can bind your work for you. They are also one of dealers for picking up those super cheap newspapers, if you fancy a catch up on current affairs.
