Flax and Co. The Estate Agents of woe.
There its better not to go,
Unless you seek your happiness to forgo,
I must tell you so that you know,
Flax will not provide you with a pleasant Chateaux.
Flax are the devils bogey of estate agents. Badly organized, unapproachable and very unhelpful. Twice I was wrongly charged for not paying my rent when I had paid it, and they also rang my mother and told her that I hadn’t paid it (when I had) for which they later apologized. I’m sure that students do give Estate Agents a lot of trouble but they really treated us with distain and for that reason I think they’re silly wallys.
When looking for a place to live after the Flax experience myself and my housemates actually found somewhere we wanted to live, but decided against it because it was through Flax.
