In our experience no event is the same and we endeavor to work personally with you to create, organise and deliver a custom package that works for you, your budget and most importantly your guests guaranteeing a rememberable event.

History

Established in 2012.

Lock 91 is an early 19^th Century lock keepers cottage set in the middle of the bustling city centre on one of the busiest locks on the Rochdale & Pennine Canal.

Once derelict, this beautiful building has been fully refurbished back to its former glory, opening in August 2012 as an independent bar Lock 91 offers something different to the bigger brands in the Deansgate Locks area. Lock 91 is situated seconds away from the Hilton hotel, Manchester Central exhibition centre, The Bridgewater Hall, Deansgate railway station and Deasngate/​Castlefield Metrolink stop.

Lock 91 is a place to relax, unwind and wash away the worries of everyday life. Whether you perch yourself outside on the canal side sun terrace, choose to play pool or darts in Jacks room with your best mates and new found friends your encouraged to sit long, talk lots and laugh often. However you choose to spend your time at Lock 91 there is something for everyone at everyones local on the locks.

My name is Gary Harvey co owner of Lock 91.

I have been in the hospitality trade for over 8 years working my way up through the trade from bartender to management with the focus on one day opening my own venue.

In 2011 an opportunity to take over a derelict cottage presented itself and with my business partner Andi Fenlon we achieved a mutual personal goal together and opened up Lock 91 in August 2012.

Are ethos is to create a home from home environment for all Lock 91 guests with enigmatic cocktail ideas a strong focus on service and value for money.
