Love molton brown stores. This store used to have a spa within the store which was amazing but sadly closed. Still so many favorite Molton Brown products to choose from and friendly helpful staff.

If I got the opportunity to be a Desperate Housewife for a day, one of the zillion things I’d do is go to Molton Brown and stock up. I’d leave the toners but the dozens of bottles of luxury bath salts, bath oils, shower gels, body scrubs, exfoliators, cleansers, moisturisers, body lotions and revitalising oils would go straight in my basket. Hell, I’d even buy some of their gorgeous scented candles and revitalising facial oils! At £49 and £39 respectively, I wouldn’t usually have the bling to buy either of them. In a parralel universe however, I’d be more than happy to splash out knowing that their toiletries and beauty products smell and feel divine. This particular branch of the luxury beauty company also has a day spa where desperate housewives and their banker husbands can get well and truly pampered with massages and MB products.

You’ve got to take your hats off to Molton Brown. They’re the perfect example of how important branding, packaging and marketing are in this world. The consumer(especially the female consumers) want to buy into luxury. If they think they’re being offered something luxurious and sought after, then there’s no limit to the amount they may pay. Personally, I don’t feel like paying £40 for a shower and bath gel set that probably cost pennies to fill. Johnsons and Nivea do a much better job of looking after my skin. Yet if some fool wants to buy me this as a gift, hell, I’m not going to say no.
