Mumbai Spice

For Valentine’s we were going to have takeaway from Mumbai Spice but we decided that for a change we would eat in their restaurant. It’s the first time for me as I alway have takeaway. It was a heart warming experience the staff worked hard and the food was delicious 10 out of 10 for service and food quality.

Great little indian. They do a week day special for £9.95 and weekends £10.95. You get 5 courses. Popadom and the chutneys, a starter, a main, either rice, chips or a nan. And then coffee to finish. The food was really tasty

It’s Saturday night cold outside, What do I need my favourite takeaway Chicken Tikka Massala, Pilau Rice chips chapatti & Poppadoms with onions and chutney. Great value .excellent food .and a very full tummy. Mumbai Spice .Well done.

Nice, good value Indian restaurant, and great to eat out of town for a change, where you can park outside. For those that don’t drive, this place is right next to Moston train station which is a 4 minute train ride from Victoria.
Mumbai Spice has undergone a refurbishment since my last visit, the décor and ambience is right on point.
Poppadoms are served as a pre-​starter with the usual mix of onions, chutney and mint yoghurt. For a starter I had the mixed kebab which I really enjoyed. For mains I shared a chicken jalfrezi and a chicken sizzler accompanied by rice and garlic naan. The whole meal was delicious, I couldn’t fault it.
They do accept the tastecard for 2 people but not on Friday or Saturday and you have to book which I would recommend as it can get full. Our total bill for 2 people came to £33, not bad considering we had 2 drinks each.
They do finish off by providing you with a shot of Baileys, a hot towel and an after eight mint which I thought was a nice touch. I’m looking forward to next time to try something else off the very extensive menu.

Mumbai Spice is located in Moston Manchester and is a fantastic Indian Takeaway, the food is really nice and cooked well the delivery service is always quick and the orders are always as requested example of the prices — Chiken Tikka Balti 2 Naan, Rice 2 can of cokes £9! Fantastic I can assure you if you want a curry and want value for money try Mumbai Spice you will not be disapointed.
