I have just been in to the shop to ask about my phone contract I was told there was a 5 – 10 minuite wait which was fine but then they seem to someone who came in after me while I was still stood waiting, when I finally got seen the girl was very unpleasant not interested in helping me and when I asked a question she was very unhelpful. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

This o2 branch is relatively new, having only been in operation for a few months. I guess it is not supposed to be particularly busy, especially given its size: of all three o2 shops within Market St and Arndale Centre this is the smallest. The guy on guard is nice and smiley, but I wasn’t sure I could say the same about the staff. Perhaps, it was the wrong day for me to visit the shop, but the guys all seemed to be dispersed across the shop floor and too busy serving other customers. It is OK as it shows how popular o2 is for a mobile operator. But in overall customer service terms they definitely lose out to other o2 outlets.
