Everyone’s made those desperate mistakes, haven’t they. Grabbing an ill-advised kebab on a bellyful of alcohol and waking up clutching the remnants like an erstwhile lover. I, however, as I always say, have never experienced this, and my air of superiority in terms of not eating kebabs(it’s not that I don’t want to, I simply can’t — they contain meat, or what passes for meat anyway) means that I generally have nicer things to say about studenty takeaways like this one. Many times I have fallen victim to Pizza Delight’s bright lights. As a university student I found myself yoinking cheap margarita pizzas from here to fill a gap, none of which I’ve ever had a problem with. The garlic pizza bread is actually remarkably tasty when you’re ravenous(and perhaps a little tipsy) and you get one with cheese for free if your order is over £10. Not bad, eh? Sure, they sell all the naughty stuff like kebabs, fried chicken and burgers, but the focus is on the pizzas as there are 24 varieties on offer. It’s right outside my apartment too, adjacent to one of my locals, the Crescent, so it’d be rude for me not to pop in occasionally. I wouldn’t recommend it for a gourmet meal, no sir, but to stave off hunger pangs and have a bit of a cheeky feast, it’s one of the better and cleaner(not to mention cheaper) takeouts I’ve found. Plus, I love soggy fries and garlic mayo from here, and so does the blonde. We’re classy we are. Mega classy, like.
