Poshu is a really posh (did you guess?) shoe shop and vendor of handbags and other accessories.
For those well into fashion, the best way to describe it is net-a-porter in shop form. Net-a-porter is an online shop that tells you what you should be wearing and how, keeping you up to date with the latest, high-end, super-trend, houtecouture. Wow, what a girly sentence. Anyway Poshu is similar, but its got a physical shop so you can go and browse even if you can’t afford the cheapest item they sell.
Its aptly located just off King Street, amongst all the poshest and classiest most fashionable shops in Manchester.
Great, if you’ve got more than a few quid you need to get rid of fast.

The aptly named Poshu is somewhere you’d spy the likes of Victoria Beckham browsing with her trademark her sunglasses and pout. This store offers shoes, jewellery, accessories from labels like Chloe, D&G, Lulu Guininess, Nicole Farhi, Olivia Morris, Paul Smith, Sonia Rykiel and Marc Jacobs. Although most of the things in this shop are out of my price range, I do appreciate the fact that owner Emma Stanworth has sourced some of the most coveted items available and put them all under one roof. All I need now is a bottomless credit card.
