Raj Takeaway

Came here after a concert on Saturday night around 1 am. Was served straight away, no messing about here!
They have a range of cheap kebab, pizza, and burger combo meals with chips and drinks to choose from which are actually value for money.
They had proper chicken on skewer kebabs which looked really good and lots of fresh salad and sauces.
I plumped for the £3.99 10 inch pizza, chips and drink choice. With a ‘mixed toppings’ pizza, salami, peppers, mushrooms, ham, cheese etc it smelled divine.
AND they have rubicon mango and lychee! Winner
Pizza tasted good, not the best I’ve had but a very cheap deal and definitely filled a booze induced hole.
Would come back again when in the Fallowfield area to try one of those tasty looking kebabs

Raj takeaway is a part of the ‘drunken munchies’ group of Fallowfield which include Kebab King and the others along the road.
It’s a great little takeaway with all the things that you love when you’re craving food! Kebabs, chips, cheese and lots of sauces.
Makes the meal of the time and leaves you thinking you’ve had the best meal ever. This place is also criminally cheap! Just £3 for kebabs!
It’s great to even com here for a quick dinner or even lunch!

It’s a hard knock life being a takeaway in Fallowfield, because there are so many. The best way to claw your way to the top is to go for quality, and Raj does alright in this regard by offering decent food, but then delivering and staying open until all hours as well. With the prices all the way to decent it stands as one of the more reasonable choices late on.

One of the small fleet of takeaways patrolling the small section of Wilmslow road; directly opposite opal halls, the core of all things student. Raj holds strong onto the student population even though big guns such as Abduls and Kebab King are biting at the heels. On going in you can see why, Raj do lots of great grub any time of day. Raj deliver to your door as well! A few times now I’ve had hunger pangs (this is very often actually) and rung up the raj man; 20 minutes later a rogan josh is flying through my door. Can’t say better than that. Additionally Raj does a ridiculous selection of pizzas?

Raj is a good takeaway, often overlooked because of the more famous Kebab King and Karachi Spice.
Kebabs are literally one of my favourite foods, not just as drunken munch, but any time of the day or night. Donner meat is grim but a good chicken or lamb kebab is phenomenal. My favorite is the spicy minced lamb, up north referred to as the Seek kebab, and usually called a Kofte in the south of England.
Where Kebab King and Karachi Spice begrudge having to make you anything that takes more than a few minutes, Raj are happy to spend the time making your kebab actually nice. And their Seek Kebab is a class above the others in Fallowfield (perhaps excluding Abduls). Spiced with excellent herbs and spices and only £3 for a large, I would recommend Raj anytime. Even breakfast.
