Robinsons the Master Bakers is Manchester’s oldest family run craft bakery. We were established in 1864 and still use traditional methods to this day.

Using traditional methods allows us to produce the best quality fresh breads and confectionery. We make over 17 types of loaves (Saturday’s have the best variety), and many muffins, rolls and torpedoes. We are always looking for new recipes to try and welcome our customers ideas and opinions.

We believe we have the largest selection of freshly made cakes for miles around. If you come in our shop you will see what we mean. We are constantly updating our range. At the moment we make over 25 varieties of cupcakes (not including toppings) and a massive amount of sticky slices!

Buffets for all occasions means we can cater for all kinds of events from small family parties to large corporate events. Our Hot Pot Suppers are a great alternative to buffets.

We now make cupcake towers for parties.

We offer a free local delivery.

History

Meet the Manager

Grace R.

Manager

Chief Baker (when the big boss isn’t around) Grace has been taught by David (the big boss) in the bakery. Everything has been passed along through physical training over the past 11 years.

Grace has a real passion for her job and wouldn’t leave it for anything.

All our bakers start at 5am 6 days a week.

Grace makes all of the doughs everyday and moulds them over the first three hours of the morning ready for David to bake when they are ready.

As well as being a baker, she is also a driver, accountant, internet updater and sales person.

Grace’s latest favourite craze is cupcakes. They seem to have taken over the world!
