Always after a massive shopping trip with my girls, I somehow land up in Superdrug to do the shampoo, creams, deo’s and those kind of things. I may not even need them, but yes, they all go home with me. They have a wide array of make-up from all possible brands and if you’re sure of what you want or want to experiment with products, you can do so freely without being majorly interrupted by the staff there. There’s always some or the other offer going on which saves you at the end of the month and in the head you thank Superdrug for its generosity. The perfumes are high street, ok-ish known ones and mediocre ones and well they’re all cheap with great offers! So stop by here when you’re looking to change your fragrance and give it a go. With BodyCare being in Arndale as well, it does give it some competition, but oh well, its you who chooses your loyalty to superdrug or bodycare.

This Superdrug is pretty much like every other Superdrug shop. It stocks loads of beauty and washing products and stuff like that, but then we all already know that, right? Usually, Superdrug tends to be the cheapest place on the high street for these kinds of items, but with Bodycare in the Arndale Centre just around the corner it is being outdone somewhat. However, if you can find some of your regular items in the myriad of two for one deals and whatnot, you might be able to save a bit of money.

Situated on the lower ground floor of the Arndale Centre, this Superdrug is the biggest branch in the city. Like the other stores, the lighting, layout and aesthetic are all a bit of an eyesore but the low prices mean it’s constantly bustling. As well as selling all the essential toiletries and beauty products you could need, there’s a large section of the store devoted to perfume, skin care and make-up. Alongside big names like L’Oreal, Ulay and Elizabeth Arden, they also stock a small range of natural and organic products including hydrating lotions, body balms and exfoliators. At the rear of the store, there’s a pharmacist and aisles packed with cold and flu remedies, vitamins, supplements and herbal tinctures like Rescue Remedy. In short, everything you need to keep healthy through the winter — apart from knitwear.
