So Im sitting at home, I cant be bothered to cook and I fancy a curry. Having read a couple of good reviews, I decided to go with Tandoori nights in Middleton. Ive now come to the conclusion. Some reviewers go stupid over the top and dont really know WHATS good anymore(too much time on facebook and on android phones no doubt) anyway I ordered for 2 of us to share: Portion of Seek kebabs Portion of samosas Lamb Jalfrezi Pilau Rice Garlic Naan Salad Seekh Kebabs: Looked like 2 little rolled up poos lol, horrible colour, tiny in size(cost £3.10!) Tasted ok but didnt eat all of it because it looked so foul. Samosas: Have you seen the frozen bags of samosas in the asian shops? Yes I kid you not.2 frozen tiny little triangles(cost £2.80!) I know for a FACT they bought the whole bag of 50 for £3.99!!! Lamb Jalfrezi: Imagine a basic tomato/curry flavour sauce, chuck it in a frying pan, add ready boiled lamb, add some fresh tomatos, add some chillis stir it round. done! I’ll say no more Rice was nice. Garlic Nan was ok. but i can do those myself. Now having read the other reviews on this place, id love to hear what they actually had to eat! NOT that i’ll go back for more, shame really, If your gonna do it. DOITRIGHT, DOITFRESHASPOSSIBLEORGOHOME!

You won’t be disappointed with a night out at Tandoori Nights. It’s one of those places I’d definitely miss if I was away from Manchester for any amount of time. Winner of the Customer Service Awards 2008, this restaurant and lounge bar is located just off Heaton Park and offers an all-round great dining experience and an alternative night out. They’ve created a very relaxing yet informal dining and drinking environment here. Most of the mains are priced very reasonably between £4−5, and the choice is very comprehensive. The last time I came here I think I ordered the Chicken Tikka Badami(marinated in freshly ground aromatic herbs and spices, cooked with ground almonds, fresh cream, pure ghee and basmati rice) which I highly recommend. If you want to try their dishes but aren’t in the mood to make the journey, then don’t fear, they’ll come to you. Look online for their menu, and you can even order here too.
