Awesome, awesome, awesome dresses! Very high street and very well cut and designed! They have gorgeous dresses and tunics/tops with great detailing and also a lot of embellishment. The store is very well laid out, with everything important catching your eye. A perfect sale tactic, must say! They also have lovely jumpers and sweaters.

Yeah the dresses are well fit. At first I thought the shop was called Whistles because it sold whistles, i.e. the London slang for a suit. When I needed a suit I inspected the shop, and found that it was actually a vendor of Women’s clothes. Despite the initial disappointment, once I notice the dresses, and the girls within them, I changed my mind. So it turns out its called Whistles because you will whistle at the girls once they have put the dresses on. It all makes sense now! Its pretty expensive, with some of the best dresses setting you back a good £250. But you will look really fit I promise, so don’t worry about it, just buy one. Then call me.

Sometimes being a one trick pony can be a good thing. Whilst lots of fashion labels try to cater for everybody by offering different collections and capsule ranges, Whistles have stuck to making strong statement pieces with beautiful tailoring, detailing or embellishment. My better half has bought a handful of blazers and jumpers from them over the last decade and literally wore them all to death. Right now, Whistles have gorgeous dresses and tops from emerging designer Sophie Hulme, classic jackets and shirts from Hope and Humanoid, great vintage motorcycle jackets in chocolate and black leather and lovely jewellery from Alex Monroe and Made.
