I was pleasantly surprised with Altrincham Market. I actually thought the foodie part would be indoors, but it is undercover. Lots of families and friends braved the cold to have a wander through the markets and the place was buzzing with lots of happy people. We had a wander through the markets and ended up having some empanadas and croquetas from Yakumama which is latin american street food. We had to wait a while for the food to cook and the power went off! When the food arrived it was lovely with a variety of salad including slaw, sweet potato and peppers. I was half expecting something greasy with them frying the food in oil. It looked colourful, healthy and appetising and it tasted delicious and all for £6.50. I would definitely come again as there are lots of food stalls there that I wouldn’t normally go for so it is nice to try something different in a very friendly atmosphere where people bump into each other, share tables etc.
