Zainy is a dessert café like many others in Cheetham Hill. However, I enjoyed myself here. The homemade gulab jaman were good, the owner was friendly, and I had a great laugh with a group of young Pakistani guys who joined me at my table with their ice creams! On the food front, I like how they are making a bit of an effort to put some different homemade chaat and sweets out there. In addition to gulab jaman, they had gajar halwa with crumbled barfi mixed through it which I have not seen done together before.
