History

Established in 2005.

Ex manager of the old Fabric Warehouse in Yeovil, Markus Kanditt left to set up his own business in 2005 from a summer house in his back garden and a rail of samples in his garage!

In 2007 he moved into current premises at Parrett Works, Martock where he was able to set up a small showroom for the ever growing collection of sample fabrics and also start manufacturing blinds himself.

In 2008 his wife Tracey became a business partner and the business goes from strength to strength with a local reputation for friendly service, free advice, quality products and professional fitting.

Markus started in the soft furnishing trade in Grantham in 1994, moving around the country a couple of times and eventually relocating to Somerset with ‘Fabric Warehouse’ who asked him to Manage their new store at Babylon Hill, which he opened in 2001.

In 2005 (while the store was still in it’s prime) he decided to leave and start up his own business ‘drapes direct’ from scratch. He now brings more than 15years experience of curtains and blinds to customers within a 30 mile radius of Martock, including an ever increasing number of commercial customers requiring fire retardant fabrics for public areas.

Serving Yeovil, Taunton, Crewkerne, Ilminster, Somerton, Martock, Sherborne and all surrounding villages.
