Stock Sweepers designs and manufactures its own models of of heavy-​duty truck-​mounted road sweepers: the S6400, and the larger S8400. We also have a huge range of spare parts for sale, for Johnston and Scarab machines, as well as our own.

History

Established in 1998.

Stock Sweepers, founded in 1998 by Jeff Stock, has become one of the world’s largest independent manufacturers of truck-​mounted suction road sweepers. The business was created with the sole intent of refurbishing and remounting existing road sweeper equipment, on to new chassis, for its own operated hire fleet.

Other road sweeper operators in the UK and overseas soon approached Stock Sweepers to have their equipment refurbished and remounted, when they themselves realised huge savings could be achieved.

In February 2000, Stock Sweepers’ hire fleet was purchased by a competing road sweeper operating company, but Jeff had already realised that there was a large gap in the market for remounting road sweepers, which had been proven in the previous years.

In January 2010, Stock Sweepers released their all-​new S6400 & S8400 Series heavy-​duty truck-​mounted suction road sweepers. Additionally, Stock Sweepers are now on the Pro5 procurement, allowing them to sell to local authorities.

Business Owner

Jeff Stock founded Stock Sweepers in 1998, originally as a sweeper refurbishing business. However, this later lead to Jeff and the team developing their own model of sweepers — the S6400 and S8400. These have since become very popular all over the world. Jeff still plays a huge role in the company, and is still helping it grow.
