We had a selection of appetizers, grilled and steamed dumplings, a selection of meats.
I must say I was impressed with every bite. If it was closer to home I would go there every week.
I love Korean cusine: plenty of meat, fish and vegetables to chose from. Spices and sauces were available to add that little extra flavour to the main ingredients.
The meat was very good. Pork and duck were especially juicy and tender. The waiter grilled the whole batch at the table (Korean style).
I did not go for 5 stars only because the extractor was not working very well, so sometime the smoke from the grill was a bit annoying. But the waiter, which grilled all the meat for us was careful changing the grill to avoid grease and meat from burning and making black smoke.

This was my first experience of Korean BBQ, but given how it panned out it won’t be my last.
We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. We were quickly seated at one of the BBQ equipped tables and left to browse through the menu.
We ordered a bunch of different things to share, it was all good. The may seemed to go in forever and the experience of cooking it at your table was a fun novelty.
I’d certainly come back here again, the food was good and so was the welcome.

This place is a bit out of the way compared to the restaurants on high street. The only reason why I came here was that I heard through the grapevine that Mr. Choi from Palace moved over here — thinking the chef may have also moved over, had to go and try it. Definitely doesn’t pull through with food quality. The soon dubu jigae it was… a little under whelming. The japchae is pretty good but will definitely go back to try the other dishes.

Great food, friendly service, have been here 3 times on special family occassions and am always happy when the feast arrives, its a little pricy but worth it to see everyone’s faces when the next dish arrives! Tasty Bulgogi and some unique signature dishes make this one standout from the many Korean Restaraunts in New Malden
