Here at Flat Caps its all about the Coffee. With a minimum of 4 coffees to chose from (it has been known for us to have 15 on at once) and a choice of brew methods there’s always something new to try. Coffees are chosen seasonally so you’ll always have fresh coffee roasted a maximum of 15 days before the sale date.

We also have fresh, healthy food (and not so healthy cakes) to accompany your coffee.

History

Established in 2010.

Started in the summer of 2010 we have earned a reputation for selling the Best Coffee in Newcastle. We have always strove to be at the peak of our field and have learned a huge amount over the years and we will keep striving to get better. Constantly at the top of any regional board in competitions and regularly in final 6 of the UK at Barista Competitions. We take what we do seriously and always have done.

Business Owner

Joe is all about the coffee. Striving to serve the best quality possible and not letting price be an issue, if its good he’ll buy it! Choice is very important, with a minimum of 4 coffees to choose from at any one time from multi roasters and international cities there’s always something new to try. Coffee is a seasonal product to it is important to buy it seasonally too.

Joe has also entered numerous competitions and has won the Northern Barista Champion title 3 years running and reached the UK finals twice.
