We have a fully oporational workshop to service, repair or tune your Scooter, Motorbike or Motocrosser. Have a session on our Dyno rolling Road to test your brake horsepower or to tune your baby — Dare to dust your mates! £20 for a Dyno base run or £40 p/​hour. Labour only charged at £25 p/​hour (No vat)

Our Retail Department is fully stocked with brakes, clothing, helmets (from £30), levers, oils, motocross wear, tools and much more.

We have our own branded clothing Getspeed Kevlar Jeans £31.99, Kevlar Jeans with removable knee inserts £44.99. These prices are due to go up soon so make best of our current stock.

Getspeed Motocross Gloves Only £14.99 a pair, Suzuki Yellow, Honda Red, Kawasaki Green and Yamaha Blue. All sizes in stock.

History

Established in 2008.

Being bikers ourselves we have been in the biking industry for many years. We started off owning them and enjoying the feeling of freedom with the wind on our faces. Throughout the years we have been in continual support of biking by firstly learning about them, dropping them, fixing them, teaching people to ride and hiring bikes to the general public is just a small list.

In 2006 we went into partnership with Taffspeed with Ian Frankland after Terry passed away (RIP) we worked closely with the Scooterists with Lambretta and Vespa’s and also the Twist and Go’s.

We left Taffspeed in the latter part of 2007 and decided to set up a bike shop to cater for all people with two wheels, we purchased a brand new Dyno and a load of stock. Fitted our new premesis out to be biker friendly.

At Getspeed we have an open workshop policy where you can wait and watch while your bike is being fixed /​dyno’d etc. we will always explain things if you do not understand.

We are here to advise, help and fix your pride and joy, We aim to keep our prices down to earth and not to rip you off — many times in the past we have been ripped off ourselves and it is not nice!

We were biker people before we were business people, so why not come down and have a chat in our friendly shop — if you are really lucky i will let you make me a cuppa tea.

Remember saftey comes first then the fun — we all like to let our hair down (if i had any lol) and have a real good ride on our bikes.
