Crown & Shamrock Inn

The Crown & Shamrock is a tiny, cosy, traditional style pub in Templepatrick. It’s been run by the same family for years. The lovely old lady knows all her locals but welcomes a visitor with open arms. It feels like you’re down South in this place. It’s totally lost in time. I’ve driven past it so many times; I’ve always noticed it as it looks so quaint from the outside. It’s one of those places I’ve always wanted to call in to so I’m glad I finally got the opportunity. The owner even remembered my boyfriend from when he used to come years ago! Now that’s what I call service! It made me smile thinking of how many different characters must have been in and out of these doors. I’ll be back here as I’d hate them to lose business and have to close down. (Yea, that’s a valid reason, not ’cause it’s the local pub or anything!)
