The staff in here are absolute kings/​queens of up-​selling. If you go in here looking for a bottle of aftershave you’ll probably come out with an entire gift set and a free wash bag because you’ve spent so much. That’s exactly what happened to me yesterday — saw a nice wee bag out the front and went in to have a look — 5 minutes later I’m smelling like a bouquet and my wallet is feeling a lot lighter.
The Perfume Shop being a chain is as you’d expect — they’ve got all the big brand fragrances as well as some lesser known ones. I would always go here over other chemists that sell aftershave as you’re bound to get a good deal.
The staff are what sets this place apart from other stores. Really nice and they’ll give you advice on what smells the best. 3 Stars only because it’s a chain. If it was a staff rating only it would be a solid 5 stars!
