I love the café here. On my most recent visit I found that the café area has moved, but as far as I can tell it’s still much the same. My favourite thing to order is the mozzarella, bacon and mushroom toastie with red onion marmalade. My last visit was on a bank holiday and they had stopped serving hot food so I went for a cheese and chutney sandwich. Great quality ingredients and a really packed sandwich — I approve. I would also recommend the cakes — pecan pie was excellent.

Sam Turners can be found on the outskirts of Northallerton, heading out of town along the highstreet towards Standard Way Industrial Estate. It really is the one stop shop! Farming goods, feeds, garden tools and accessories, clothing, footwear, toys and gifts to name a few. Sam Turners houses a averiety of brands, most of which are well known for their quality and reasonable prices. The last time I visited was our first visit to the café. Very clean, reasonable priced food(bacon butties to die for!), fantastic customer service and friendly staff. Well worth a visit!

This is a huge building just on the outskirts of Northallerton on the main road as you enter the town. There is a huge farming community in the locality and this store serves them well. It sells lots of specialist, good name clothing and garden and farm supplies. The building is like a big warehouse with huge high ceilings, so can be quite cool to walk around. It sells a huge range of barbour wellingtons in lots of different colours and lots of clothes for equestrian events and polo as well as clothes suitable for the farm, or indeed just shopping — all made to last. They also sell garden and farm supplies such as fencing and gates, have a large pet care range such as toys and food for your dog or cat or hay for a cage etc. There is a small selection of toys and games for sale, again, good quality built to last such as lego or brio. Upstairs there is a fair sized café which is great for coffee and a cake or a light(or not so light) lunch. Lots of choice and all beautifully tasting and presented, reasonable priced as well. Just off from the café there is a home section selling lovely items for the kitchen, good pans, Typhoon accessories, lock and lock boxes to name a few. Well worth a visit.
