Toys ‘R’ Us

Visited this store on a Friday afternoon. One checkout open, huge queues and the staff were less than helpful. Asked where a certain item was and was told «over there somewhere»! Also ordered two items on line and was emailed back to say, items must be collected the next day. I work and am not able to collect items in the week so will not bother.

I Remember I loved this place is a kid, now I have a kid, not the first place I go for toys! Over priced and hard to find things. No real structure of things and the staff are so slow. The store is hard to get out off with no real exit unless your buying something! But still … Has lots of toys here :-)

ok store for kids but many things overpriced, computer stuff etc its cheaper on the internet at times.
they do vouchers which you can add payment to the gift card which is good idea.
havent been in since last year, wasnt impressed to have ordered an item 2 years ago went to collect, they sold it to someone else?? how annoying is that

This is a great place to get any sort of toys and games including computer games and computer games consoles. The store is situated out of town, but only a few minutes drive away from the main town centre. There is a large free carpark outside and is set in a complex with a few other shops.
The store is huge and is has loads of different departments for girls toys, boys toys, pre school, dolls, lego etc. It is really easy to find the sort of thing that you are looking for and they always have loads of the same item on display so the shelves don’t run empty too quickly. If you are looking for a particular toy then this is a great place to start, but even if you are just browsing and are unsure what to buy, you are bound to find something in this huge store.
As well as toys, they also sell baby items such as cots and playpens.
The one thing I have noticed though, is the times that I have been in this store there didn’t seem to be many staff working there on the shop floor which is unusual for a store of this size.
I would thoroughly recommend this store to anyone who has children or who buys toys for children.

toysrus in northampton is a really good sized store and i love going here, just like a big kid, there is a good sized entertainment area with all games and games consoles, plus pc’s and pc games, there is a good board game selection, and a decent electrical section with tv’s designed for kids and keyboards, theres a good boys section with all the toys for boys, a good girls section and a decent playmobil area, plus loads of toys for babies and toddlers, a good choice of bike and ride on toys, plus the imagination area with loads of good activies for kids of all ages. there is a decent sized baby section with pushchairs, cots, most you need for a new arrival. we all love going to toysrus. plenty of free parking with a new mothercare and brantanos plus many more stores.

If your kids are under 10 you’ll visit this place. Great location out of town with many parking spaces and other shops to visit. Best range of toys and games in town. Open until 10pm. Great for on the way home from work. As with all toys r us — rubbish service.

excellent location on the fringe of the town centre, this well stocked superstore is a must if great selection is needed
cater for everything from early years to computing & electricals for teens
as with most hyper stores, however, if good cusomer service is what you need then aviod this store
we often use it in the evening (after work) when there’s a shortage of assistants & queues at the checkouts seem to be at their longest

Toys r us is a giant toy superstore which caters from birth to childlike 90 year olds!
This particular one is like all the others in the country as they have exactly the same layout etc
Other than toys you can get Nursery gear from babies r us, clothes, toiletries, nursery furniture, feeding, nappies, car seats, buggieseverything needed really!
Toywise you can get the latest brand names and movie/​cartoon names in Dvds, Board games (massive selection!), video games from the latest consoles, jigsaws, action figures, scalextric, lego, playmobil, bedroom stuff, bikes and trikes, outdoor games, educational… LOADS!!!
There is also baby changing and toilets and ample carparking.

The shop has Easy parking a massive toy shop plenty for young and older kids they have a wide range of video games and consoles so excelent for shopping around christmas time and during the year the staff are pleasant and friendly. this store also has a resturant oppersite the store so you can buy drinks etc when you visit there is also seven other shops in this section outside.
if you take the kids there never want to leave as there have tons of stuff all you will hear is i wants. so be warned lol
