Boots The Chemists

From the outside this boots looks tiny, however its cleaverly stocked and has all the everyday essentials mixed with the odd little treat that everyone loves.
Its great that Boots have actually geared this store to its location and seem to have put a great deal of thought into how to service the area, as much as make a profitable store.
The staff seem faultless and its quite refreshing to be treated in a personal, friendly manner from such a large chain.
The only (very small) negative appears to be the range for the christmas gifts currently on 3 for 2, its a minimal selection for obvious reasons.

Since its refit, Boots is bright and spacious. However, it being the only chemist in the area (that’s easy to get to for most customers, being elderly) with many special offers they often are short of stock on some items.
However, stock is replenished fairly swiftly. The staff are friendly and helpful. they are generally quick at serving, which is handy!
The pharmacy, however, is very slow. I dont think I have waited less than 15 minutes for a prescription, even if there is no one in front of me. There are different pharmacists in the most of the time, so maybe it takes them a while to get used to the system. I dont know. The Boots staff, though, are usually jumping in and helping to make sure the queue moves as quick as it can.
All in all, its fantastic to have a Boots in Bowthorpe.
