Caffe Uno

I have eaten here on a number of occasions and it never lets me down. The staff are courteous and efficient. I often eat here on 2−4 – 1’s which of course cant be quibbled at. The carbonara and mussels are delicious and the prices are most competitive.

Excellent Location, near pubs and other restuarants.
Good food, and good prices, good service. I will be going back soon.

This bistro is a really family friendly restaurant, with special menus an high chairs available for children.
The food is Italian themed with pizzas and pasta dishes being the order of the day. There are excellent desserts and starters too, and a good selection of wines and coffees. If you want to know what wine goes best with your meal, then ask the staff and they are happy to recommend something for you.
This is a really good place for an early evening meal with the family, or to meet friends for lunch. There are tables and chairs outside too, so if the weather is fine you can sit outside and eat your meal and watch the world go by along Tombland.
Caffe Uno caters for groups and parties and has a special Christmas Menu as well. If you just want a table for 2 or 4 there is no need to book but for any larger groups it would be worth calling to reserve your table.

A great family friendly resturant, with great food and atmosphere. Very cosy and good value for money. my personal fav are the pasta dishes. also good for lunch either working or just meeting up with friends for a chat or a break while shopping. staff are very helpful and welcoming. i dont think there is anything else to say other than check it out, you wont be disapointed.

Perfect for a lunch with friends or family, or an after work meal, this is a very friendly bistro which often has special offers on to help the budget!
With kids menus available, it is perfect to introduce younger diners to real eating out. A selection of pasta, pizzas, with such delicious items as mussels, this food is reliable and tasty at any time of the day.
A tip — if you see an item on the starters list that you would quite fancy as a main course instead, ask them to double it up in size — they are generally very happy to do this for you!
With promotions on for Christmas parties etc, this is well worth a look.
