On my annual visits to Norwich I always stop here for afternoon tea and a tempting cake and of am obliged to buy some Caleys chocolate to take back to the family in the Lakes. The staff are pleasant, the surroundings great and the tea/​coffee/​cakes/​butties always good value. Don’t change Caleys stay as you are.

This is a proper tea shop, where you can order freshly-​made sandwiches, light meals, cakes, pots of tea and of course, Caley’s hot chocolate. Service is really pleasant and the food I’ve had here was good: my sandwich came with a garnish of crisps and salad, including tasty home-​made coleslaw. Service was also pleasant and efficient, despite the place being busy.
When you’ve finished your meal and go to the counter to pay, you’ll be further tempted by a range of chocolates. These vary from small bars of Caley’s to a more glamorous glass case of luxury chocolates.
Overall, a really relaxing and pleasant place to relax in the historic Guildhall.

A nice place to take any visiting relatives, this place has and old-​world feel about it.
Tucked inside the Guildhall it is right in the centre of Norwich.
Also a good place to stock up on chocolate!

This is part of the city’s heritage and a great place to take anyone visiting the city.
It’s got quite an old feel attached to it, which is why the main clientele is mature.
The building is magnificent and worth taking the time to admire.
You can enjoy the famous luxury chocolate as well as savory foods.

I have been here at least the last 4 saturdays on the trot with various friends of all ages. Its perfect for cream teas or hot chocolates, try hot choc and marshmallows. The staff take your order and you pay at the end. Its the best place in norwich to go for a bite to eat. You can buy a huge assortment of fudges and chocs at the chilled counter all of which of course is Caleys. Only down side is they are not open long enough into the evening.

Wow what a place, if you love chocolate this is the place for you. They do hot chocolate, chocolate cakes etc, as well as this they also do light lunches like snadwiches, jacket pototoes. They also have a small shop for you to buy chocolates to take away. They ae a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. The food is delicious and you will want to go back again and again.

Caley’s is great — they have a good range of tea’s, coffee’s, cakes, chocolate (Caley’s, of course), lunches, snacks and cold drinks. The building itself is gorgeous — inside an old church, its just fabulous to sit in. The toilets are exactly wheelchair friendly, although I am pretty sure they must have disabled access somewhere, although i didnt see it.
Makes a change from the big chains dotted around the city. Its so much more. Norwich!

Worth seeking out this city centre daytime café /​teashop, right next to the open air market. As well as a good range of light meals and more regular teashop fare, it’s heaven for chocolate-​lovers. It doesn’t just do hot chocolate, it has a menu of hot chocolate options, (and not just with or without cream and marshmallows)! Also sells take-​away chocolate in various forms. All in the well-​preserved setting of an old courtroom, so it has looks and style too.
